    Billy Ray’s: cash only, across the street from Ox (which is high-end, meat-forward Argentinian food). Pro-Tip: Get inexpensive drinks at Billy Ray’s while waiting on a table and balling out on meat at Ox!

    The Vern: GREAT Dive. The sign got damaged, so instead of “tavern,” it has gone by “the Vern” for years.

    Holman’s: This bar just got saved from destruction, and thank God it did. It’s a Portland staple.

  • Luc Lac: a downtown Pho spot.

    Reel’M’Inn: some of the best fried chicken in town.

    Slims: an amazing Dive with some of Portland's most solid bar food. Truly one of the most underrated dives and food spots in town!

    Portland Art Museum: the current exhibit focuses on Oregon Black artists.

    Quarter World // Ground Kontrol: the classic bar-cades. Location on the East side and one Downtown.

    Music Millennium: our personal favorite spot to shop for records. Not too overpriced and has a HUGE selection of all genres.

    The Coffin Club: it’s a Goth dance bar, need we say more?

    Mt. Tabor Park

    Wildwood Trail/Lower Macleay Trail Loop: a 3ish mile hike located within city limits. It’s a great way to feel like you’re outside of the city while not having to go far.

    Laurelhurst Park: we get delicious deli sandwiches from Laurelhurst Market and eat them in this park.

    Cannon Beach: yes, you need a car, but also, then you get to see the ocean!

    Everett House: a quiet, small spa located in town. A great space to sweat out all those toxins and have some personal time during the chaos of PDXCW.

  • The Garrison: literally the most underrated cocktail bar in this town. Trust us, it’s always a great experience when you go here.

    Lottie and Zulas: very solid Sandos and Hoagies. Plus, there is a record shop attached to the space.

    Gabbianos: an amazing Italian spot in North Portland, owned by Camp Runamok Squirrel Blake Foster!

    Taqueria y Panaderia Santa Cruz (Tienda Santa Cruz): located in the back of a Mexican market, you might not even realize it’s there, but you can thank me once you’ve taken your first bites.

    Horse Brass: a cute English-style pub with delicious Bangers + Mash.

    Cheese and Crack: charcuterie and dessert...they make their own soft serve, need we say more???
